Sheriff Greg Hamilton
Welcome to my campaign website. I am seeking re-election as your Sheriff to continue to serve Travis County with experience, passion, and integrity.
Serving as Travis County Sheriff is the greatest job I have ever had, and I look forward to continue to bring law enforcement together with the community while keeping the public safe.
I am extremely proud of the accomplishments I have achieved as Sheriff:
- Developed strong ties with the community through the adoption of Austin Children's Shelter, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and monthly visits to schools throughout Travis County.
- Increased budget from the Comissioners Court each year.
- Oversaw higher successful re-entry rates to the community for previously incarcerated criminals.
- Improved the working relationship between the Travis County Sheriff's Officers Association and the Travis County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Association.

My goals for Travis County and the Sheriff′s Office are ambitious, but achievable. I will strive to maintain the improvements of the last four years, while working toward a more cohesive law enforcement service that works with and contributes to Travis County.
